Google Business Profile
The listing that decides whether you appear in the map pack for your own city. Cheapest lead source most local businesses ignore.
What this actually is
For a local business the map pack is usually the single highest-converting thing on the results page, and it is free. It is also the thing most owners set up once in 2019 and never touched. Categories are wrong, half the services are missing, there are four duplicate listings from previous agencies, and the last photo is of a van you sold.
What you get.
Not a menu of upsells. Everything below is in the base price, because the work is not finished without it.
- Profile rebuild: categories, services, attributes, hours, products
- Geo-tagged photography uploaded on a weekly schedule
- Review generation by SMS and email, triggered from your job system
- Weekly posts and Q&A seeded with genuine customer questions
- Citation cleanup and duplicate suppression across directories
- Multi-location management with per-location reporting

Who it's for
The part that
makes the difference.
Categories and services, done properly
Your primary category does more to determine what you rank for than anything else on the profile, and most businesses have picked the wrong one. We test category combinations against a grid of your actual service area, then build out every service, attribute and product field — the ones nobody fills in because they are three menus deep.
Reviews as a system, not a request
Asking customers for reviews when you remember to produces nothing. We connect the request to the moment a job is marked complete in your system, so it fires automatically by SMS while the work is fresh. Volume, recency and keyword content in reviews all feed the ranking, and it compounds month over month.
Citation cleanup is where the results come from
Duplicate and conflicting listings across directories tell Google it cannot verify who you are and where. Cleaning that up is tedious, invisible and routinely the reason a profile suddenly starts ranking after months of nothing. For multi-location businesses it is usually the whole job.
Google Business Profile,
answered honestly.
How long until we rank in the map pack?
Four to eight weeks for visible movement in most markets, longer where citation cleanup is heavy or the profile has a suspension history. Proximity to the searcher is a ranking factor nobody can change, so a business on the edge of a city will never rank in its centre.
Can you manage profiles for multiple locations?
Yes, that is a large share of what we do. Each location gets its own categories, services, photography and reporting, managed through the Business Profile API rather than by hand.
Do you write fake reviews?
No. It violates Google's policies, it is illegal in the US under FTC rules, and it gets profiles suspended. We build a system that gets real reviews from real customers at volume, which works better and cannot be taken away from you.
What if our profile is suspended?
We handle reinstatement, which usually turns on providing the right evidence in the right format rather than appealing repeatedly. Prevention is easier: most suspensions come from category or address changes made carelessly.
