Built, launched,
then fed.

Four engagements where the same team owned the build and the marketing. Every number below is measured in the client's CRM rather than in an ad platform, because platforms grade their own homework.

Booked jobs, 5 months+340%
Cost per booked job$71
Was, at handover$190
Time to first paint0.9s

The situation

Emergency restoration is won in the ninety seconds after a ceiling comes down. Northline was paying for that traffic and losing it: eleven seconds to first paint on 4G, a phone number rendered as an image, and an ad account optimising toward a form submission nobody at the company was checking after 6pm.

What we did

Twelve pages, rebuilt for a person standing in water. Tap-to-call above the fold on every template, service pages per suburb, and a Google Ads rebuild aimed at booked jobs imported back from their CRM. That meant switching off roughly two thirds of the keywords the previous agency reported on each month.

What happened

Booked jobs tripled over five months while spend stayed flat, because the money moved off broad terms that produced volume and onto the eleven that produced work. The Business Profile rebuild added a second, free channel that now carries about a fifth of their calls.

Consultations, year one1,240
Cost per consultation$38
Show rate81%
Creative tested144

The situation

A clinic with excellent outcomes and a website that looked like a spa brochure. Consultations were booked by phone during opening hours only, so every enquiry that arrived at nine at night — which was most of them — went to whoever answered first the next morning, often a competitor.

What we did

A booking-first rebuild where every treatment page ends in an available time slot rather than a contact form. Then Meta creative produced in batches of six per cycle, tested against each other, with the winners cut into short-form for the feed. Conversions API server-side so iOS traffic stopped disappearing.

What happened

1,240 consultations in the first year at $38 each. The number we watch harder is show rate: 81%, because the booking flow asks for a card hold and sends two reminders, which turned out to matter more than the cost per booking ever did.

Map pack top 341/46
Calls per month+212%
Reviews added+1,900
Listings cleaned140

The situation

Nine locations, nine Business Profiles, and roughly 140 duplicate or conflicting listings scattered across directories from three previous agencies. Google could not tell which address was real, so Kestrel ranked in the map pack for two of their nine cities.

What we did

Citation cleanup first — unglamorous, and the reason everything else worked. Then per-suburb landing pages with genuinely different content, categories and services rebuilt per location, geo-tagged photography uploaded weekly, and a review request that fires by SMS when a job is marked complete. Overflow calls now route to a dedicated dispatch team after 6pm.

What happened

Top-three map pack placement for 41 of 46 target terms and a call volume that tripled without a dollar of media spend. Reviews went from a trickle to roughly 160 a month, which compounds into the ranking rather than sitting on a page nobody reads.

The situation

Dispatch ran on fourteen shared spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group. Two people knew which tab was authoritative. Their insurer had started asking questions about the audit trail, which is usually the moment a spreadsheet becomes a board-level problem.

What we did

A dispatch portal built over fifteen weeks in two-week releases, so operations moved across a workflow at a time rather than on a switchover weekend. Live load board, role-based access, an append-only audit log, and a driver app that works with no signal and reconciles when it finds one.

What happened

Twenty-two hours a week returned to the operations team, mostly from status calls that no longer need to happen. The audit trail passed the insurer's review at the first attempt. All fourteen spreadsheets are archived, which their ops lead insists on describing as the best part.

Sectors we've
worked in before.

Not a restriction — it means we already know your compliance rules, your seasonality and roughly what a lead should cost, so the first month is spent building rather than learning.

Regulated categories change the work rather than rule it out. Healthcare advertising needs different consent handling and a review process before anything goes live; lending has disclosure requirements that shape the landing page. We build for those constraints from the start instead of discovering them at launch.

What clients say
when we're not there.

They switched off two thirds of our keywords in week three. I was furious. By month two we were booking more work on the same budget.

The developer and the media buyer were on the same call from day one. I had never had that before, and I did not realise how much I had been translating.

They spent the first month cleaning up directory listings, which sounded like nothing. It turned out to be the whole problem.

Two minutes on the brief builder gets you a scope, a fixed price and the first thing we would fix — inside one business day, from a person rather than a template.
